Prominent among these are the numerous
thematic exhibitions curated by the TCA team.
In-house exhibitions on Tata personalities,
companies and institutions are held regularly
at the premises. A Mobile Exhibition on
JN Tata is organised in different cities in India.
The exhibitions are open to the general public.
The Archives also serve as a central point of
information for researchers and students. Apart
from Tata history, there are a sizeable number
of documents on India’s industrialisation, and
correspondence with national leaders such as
Dadabhai Naoroji and Mahatma Gandhi, which
are of tremendous value to researchers and
historians. A number of businesses across the
country have approached TCA for guidance
on how best to set up and manage an archive,
and this knowledge-sharing is done through
consultancy assignments.
An awareness about its current happenings and
activities is created through its website
www.tatacentralarchives.com and its newsletter,
‘Sands of Time’.
Looking back at its 25-year journey, TCA
can justifiably be proud of its achievements.
Looking forward, it will continue to play an
important role as a custodian of Tata history;
recording and preserving history, building an
oral history collection by seeking in-depth
accounts of personal experiences and reflections
for future research. In the years to come, TCA
will continue to keep abreast with the latest
practices and technologies that are followed
internationally. 
