At Tata Central Archives, like all Tata companies, our values come above all. As custodians of the Tata heritage, we have an added responsibility to create and maintain a repository of Tata Records that will motivate and inspire generations to come.

  • Are the TCA exhibition galleries open to public?
  • The galleries are open to visitors from Monday to Friday from 10a.m. to 5p.m. TCA is closed on all public holidays. We welcome visitors from all walks of life and offer a glimpse into the genesis of the Tata group and how the group has contributed towards the building of our nation. Entry to the galleries is free. Please contact the Archivist for more information.
  • How do I schedule a school or college tour?
  • To schedule a school or college tour, you can either call, email or fill in our online Request a Tour Form. These tours are conducted in English, Hindi and Marathi. Group tours can also be organised on Saturdays subject to prior intimation. We are open from Monday to Friday 10a.m. to 5p.m. excluding public holidays. Please contact the Archivist for more information.

  • How can a Researcher access the Archives?
  • We welcome researchers at TCA. Researchers and authors can access TCA's Collections for academic and non-academic publications and exhibitions. We are open from Monday to Friday, 10a.m. to 5p.m excluding public holidays. Visits to TCA must be scheduled in advance and supervised by the Archivist or an official representative of TCA.

  • How can I request for an Archival Record?
  • Tata companies, researchers and authors can access TCA’s Collections for academic and non-academic publications and exhibitions. Please do contact us with detailed requests and we will be happy to discuss the financials. All requests are subject to review by Tata Central Archives. Archival Records for publication or distribution must be ordered through Tata Central Archives and cannot be reproduced, transferred, published, or posted on the internet, loaned or deposited with another individual or repository without prior written permission from the Tata Central Archives.   • Tata Central Archives is built on contributions from group companies. We welcome your support by donating relevant records and encourage your involvement in our various projects. The Tata Central Archives is also the proud collector of Tata stories. Please do share these with us. Do contact the Archivist for information on how you can contribute.
